Tour the Corner Brook Caves

Located in the hills surrounding Corner Brook there exists a fascinating underground environment. A mountain stream has carved it's way underground and created a cave system through the bedrock.

This introduction to the Corner Brook Caves is an excellent way to experience the "world down under". Walk along a subterranean stream and learn about the forces and conditions that created the caves. All of the caverns we travel through are large enough to walk in but there are smaller caverns that we can take the more adventurous cavers.

You are going to need long sleeve shirt and pants, hiking shoes or boots and a clear notion that getting dirty is going to happen! From shop to shop this tour can take up to three hours.

This tour is usually limited to a group of eight so depending on the number of people interested we may have to cycle different times.

Snow Shoe along the International Appalachian Trail

The International Appalachian Trail runs through Maine, New Brunswick, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. In Western Newfoundland this long-distance hiking trail extends from Port-aux-Basques in the south, through Gros Morne National Park, to Crow Head (just east of L'Anse aux Meadows) at the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula.

We would hike a 17km section of this trail that would take us over Corner Brooks famous Man in the Mountain and follow the winding Humber River to the small community of Humber Village. A recent hike of the trail has revealed fresh animal tracks from moose, caribou and fox.

The cost for each activity is $79.00 plus tax per person for each individual activity. People who wish to participate in both activities will receive a discount of 10%, bringing the cost to $142.20per person for both activities. I have included a picture from each activity that you can use as well.
